Two awards for OliVchicken at the Healthy Diet Awards 2020

On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, the Healthy Diet Awards 2020 ceremony took place at the Athenaeum InterContinental Athens, organized by Boussias Communications. For the first time, excellence and innovation in products promoting balanced and healthy nutrition were recognized during a glamorous event dedicated to the winners of this year’s awards.  

More than 300 senior business executives, representatives of ministries, institutions, universities, health and nutrition professionals, healthy food influencers, food bloggers, and media- gathered to honor innovative food, beverages, and supplements that contribute to a balanced dietary model. 

The awards were held under the auspices of the Hellenic Atherosclerosis Society, while the judging panel consisted of distinguished members of the scientific community from the fields of medicine and nutrition. 

OliVchicken, the only chicken fed with corn and olive oil—offering rich flavor and tender meat while contributing to immune support due to its high selenium content—received two distinctions: 

  • Silver Award in the category Healthy Food Product of the Year for Children 
  • Bronze Award in the category Healthy Food Product of the Year 

The awards were accepted by Mr. Athanasios Aggelakis, CEO of Aggelakis S.A., who commented:
