Aggelakis held its New Year’s cake-cutting ceremony for 2026 on Saturday, January 31, in the presence of all company employees, as well as representatives of the political leadership and local government.
Among those attending the event were the Member of Parliament for Evia, Mr. Simos Kedikoglou, the Deputy Regional Governor of Evia, Mr. Giorgos Kelaïditis, the Mayor of Chalkida, Ms. Elena Vaka, the Chief of Police of Evia, Mr. Konstantinos Koukouvinos, and the Head of the Volunteer Firefighting Unit of Psachna, Mr. Spyros Raptakis, along with close associates and friends of the company.
The year 2026 marks a new era for the leading poultry company from Evia. This new chapter began in late 2025 with the dynamic relaunch of the Aggelakis brand, as well as the implementation of a major investment program with a total value of €30 million. The program, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, includes the significant expansion of the company’s facilities, the modernization of the production lines and the tripling of production capacity – always in respect of the principles of sustainable development.
The dynamic start of 2026 was further sealed by the first Great Place to Work® certification for Aggelakis, ranking the company among the best working environments in the country.
The protagonists of the event were the people of Aggelakis, who daily bring the company’s philosophy and vision to life and constitute its greatest investment, as well as its strongest brand.
During the event, Mr. Thanos Angelakis, CEO of Aggelakis, stated:
