This year, Aggelakis SA celebrates one of its longest-standing partnerships, marking 25 years of daily supply of fresh Greek Aggelakis chicken to KFC restaurants across Greece.
Aggelakis, fully meeting the high standards and strict specifications of the global KFC brand, implements rigorous controls at every stage of the production process and fully adopts the best international quality practices for its products. These practices are aligned with four key pillars: product quality and safety, animal welfare, sustainable operations, and responsible growth.
To commemorate this milestone anniversary, Mr. Giorgos Tanes, CEO of Food Plus SA—the company that holds the development rights for the KFC brand in Greece—presented an honorary plaque to Mr. Thanos Aggelakis, CEO of Aggelakis SA, in a touching ceremony.
“Our partnership now spans a quarter of a century. Over the years, we’ve faced challenges together—crises, the pandemic—and have grown side by side, with vision, mutual respect, and responsibility. In my eyes, Food Plus SA represents all the values that every business in Greece and beyond should stand for. We are truly proud of this exceptional partnership and remain committed to continuing forward with the same sense of responsibility and the unwavering quality that defines Aggelakis Poultry,” stated Mr. Thanos Aggelakis.
