7 Awards for AGGELAKIS at the Mediterranean Taste Awards 2022

• Platinum Award for OliVchicken® and the handmade stuffed fresh chicken roll by Aggelakis 

AGGELAKIS S.A. participated for the first time in the prestigious international competition, the Mediterranean Taste Awards 2022 -which aims to highlight the benefits of the Mediterranean diet and showcase the most innovative and exceptional in taste products- and received multiple distinctions. 

In particular, the handmade stuffed roll made from fresh chicken breast fillet by AGGELAKIS -also suitable for those following a gluten-free diet- and the patented OliVchicken®, the only Greek chicken fed exclusively on a 100% plant-based diet enriched with corn and pure olive oil, were both honored with the top distinction: the Platinum Award

At the same time, the ever-popular handmade burger from the Secret Recipes range, kneaded with the simplest and purest ingredients based on Panagiota Aggelaki’s original family recipe, received the Gold Award

The company’s new breaded products –chicken nuggets and strips made from pure chicken breast fillet, and breaded meatballs made from fresh chicken mince- were each awarded a Silver Award for their outstanding taste and crispy texture. 

Finally, the multi-awarded, handmade, gluten-free OliVchicken® burger, prepared with organic whole-grain oats, fresh vegetables, pure olive oil, and turmeric, was also recognized with a Silver Award by the expert tasting panel of the Mediterranean Taste Awards. The product stood out for combining exceptional flavor with the consistent quality that defines AGGELAKIS.
