- Silver Award at the Supermarket Awards 2026 in the Sales Growth / Product Market Share category
Aggelakis recorded significant growth in 2025, both in the domestic market and abroad, increasing its total turnover by 22% compared to 2024. In the organised retail sector, the company achieved a growth rate of 63.5%, approximately 8 times higher than the corresponding market growth rate, becoming the fastest-growing branded player in its category, according to Circana data.
In recognition of these outstanding results, Aggelakis received a Silver Award in the “Sales Growth / Product Market Share (Food)” category at the Supermarket Awards 2026, an institution that, for the past 15 years, has recognised and rewarded innovative products, digital transformation initiatives and sustainable partnerships that contribute to the growth of the FMCG sector and the national economy.
Behind this significant growth lies a comprehensive commercial strategy implemented by Aggelakis in 2025, aimed at increasing sales, strengthening its market share and expanding its presence in organised retail.
The company expanded its omnichannel presence, strengthening the distribution of its products across physical stores, e-commerce and q-commerce channels, while establishing new strategic partnerships that led to the placement of its products in additional retail chains. Aggelakis’ growth was also supported by the holistic rebranding implemented in October 2025, which included a refreshed corporate identity and new packaging across its entire product portfolio, enhancing brand differentiation in the refrigerated retail shelves and improving the consumer experience at the point of sale.
These results highlight the effectiveness of Aggelakis’ commercial strategy, which translated into measurable outcomes, a stronger competitive position and tangible business value in a highly competitive category of the food market.
The Supermarket Awards 2026 ceremony took place on Thursday, 8 October, at Anais Club, attended by more than 250 executives from the supermarket sector and its suppliers. Elena Karagianni, Commercial Director of Aggelakis, stated:
“The Silver Award at the Supermarket Awards 2026 represents important recognition of our commercial strategy and our systematic efforts to strengthen the market presence and competitiveness of our products. The growth in our sales and market share is the result of consumers’ trust, close collaboration with our commercial partners and, above all, the dedication and daily efforts of the Aggelakis team. I would like to warmly thank all our people for their decisive contribution to this success – a success that belongs to all of us and gives us even greater motivation to continue evolving, innovating and creating value for our consumers and partners.”
