The Greek poultry company Aggelakis received the Great Place to Work® certification for 2026, a recognition that confirms in practice the company’s commitment to creating a modern workplace environment, characterized by respect, trust, team spirit and inspiration for personal and professional development.
The certification is based on an independent, anonymous survey conducted among employees, reflecting the corporate culture and everyday work experience. According to the results, 65% of employees feel they make a difference in their work, while 63% feel that their work has special meaning and is not “just a job”, wishing to remain with the company for a long period of time. Of particular importance is the environment of acceptance and support experienced by the people of Aggelakis, as more than 62% of employees believe they are treated fairly, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation or origin, while 63% state that the Management shows a sincere interest in them, as persons and not just as employees.
Aggelakis consistently invests in continuous training, professional development and skills enhancement for its employees across all departments of the company. At the same time, it implements training programs for its partner poultry farmers, aiming for the overall progress and sustainable development of the sector. The group activities organized by the Human Resources Department strengthen team bonding and foster a culture of cooperation and solidarity, while the sessions with nutritionists and the nature walking excursions offered to employees, promote physical and mental well-being, fully aligned with the company’s new motto, “Taste Good Life”.
Αt the same time, the company systematically invests in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives with a meaningful social impact, actively supporting local communities, while it recently signed the Diversity Charter, reaffirming its commitment to a corporate culture that respects each person’s uniqueness and promotes equality, inclusion, and freedom of expression.
