Supporting Local Schools with Essential Equipment
Aggelakis S.A. continues to actively support its homeland and the children of Evia, by donating modern technological equipment to the Primary School and Kindergarten of Agia Anna, as well as a new air conditioning unit to the Primary School of Triada, in the Municipality of Dirfys-Messapia.
Through this initiative, Aggelakis contributes meaningfully to improving both the quality of education and the everyday school experience for local children, while reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the wider region of Evia—an area that was heavily affected by this summer’s wildfires.
On Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 16:30, the official handover of the equipment to the Primary School of Agia Anna took place in a festive, holiday atmosphere. The event was attended by the Mayor of the local community, Mr. Giorgos Tsapourniotis; the school’s Principal, Ms. Maria Ntimou; and teachers Ms. Stamatoula Lazou and Ms. Asimina Staïdi. Representatives from the Parent & Guardian Association were also present, including the President, Mr. Angelos Stamatellos, and Ms. Giota Konstantinou.
The Primary School of Agia Anna was founded in the 1960s–70s as a donation by a local resident. Today, the school serves 32 children from eight neighboring villages and operates an optional full-day program in recent years.
