Aggelakis S.A. signs the Diversity Charter in support of equality and inclusion

As part of its people-centered strategy and ongoing commitment to a discrimination-free workplace, Aggelakis S.A. has signed the Diversity Charter, contributing to a more inclusive and equitable future in the Greek business landscape.

The Diversity Charter is a European Commission initiative that aims to promote equality and inclusion in the workplace. It encourages companies to respect and embrace the uniqueness of their people, adopt equal opportunity policies, and foster a culture of participation, respect, and belonging for all employees. The Charter is currently implemented in more than 25 European countries and, in Greece, it is coordinated by KEAN (Cell of Alternative Youth Activities).

By signing the Diversity Charter, Aggelakis S.A. publicly affirms its commitment to integrating the principles of Diversity and Inclusion across every aspect of its operations, ensuring a workplace that promotes equality, individuality, freedom of expression, and a healthy, inclusive everyday experience for all.

“Respect for every individual’s uniqueness, transparency, and equal opportunities for all are core values that guide every step we take as a company. Through this initiative, we hope to inspire other organizations to help shape a more inclusive future—not only in the workplace but across society at large. Progress is built in environments where everyone feels accepted,” emphasized Mr. Thanos Aggelakis, CEO of Aggelakis S.A. and President of the Greek Interprofessional Poultry Organization (EDOP).
