With a long-standing career in the poultry sector, Thanos Aggelakis is currently the CEO of Aggelakis S.A. and President of the National Interprofessional Poultry Organization (EDOP). He holds a degree in Business Administration and Organization from the Athens University of Applied Sciences and an MBA from the Hellenic Management Association. 
From a young age, while still studying, he worked in the small family poultry business in Chalkida. In the early years, he was involved in sales, gaining direct experience in the company’s operations and the importance of maintaining long-term relationships with customers and suppliers. 
He later founded Aggelakis S.A., expanding the company’s activities from poultry farming and production to trading. 
He went on to serve as Sales Director, forging strategic partnerships, significantly increasing turnover, and strengthening the brand. 
Since 1998, he has held the position of CEO and continues with passion, consistency, and dedication the vision of his parents, Nikolaos and Panagiota Aggelaki, believing that what they do at Aggelakis is not just the production and sale of chicken products—but an art. 
Since 2020, he has also been a Founding Member and President of the National Interprofessional Poultry Organization (EDOP).
